Suggest a definition
The thesaurus at present has only one full-time employee. New definitions, images and applets are being added daily, and the existing content needs to be checked and refined. You can help by submitting a suggestion for a new definition, using the form below.
Note that by submitting a definition here you consent to its use by the University of Cambridge in thesaurus.maths.org, and in any and all other publications derived therefrom, in any medium. You agree that the University may exercise all rights under copyright over your submission. NOTE: we can only accept submissions of which you are the original author. By making a submission you indicate that you are its original author, and you agree that the University will not be liable for copyright infringement or any other penalties if you are not the original author of your submission.

(This is optional. NRICH will not pass on your details to any other organisation - but we like to have information about who has contributed which definition.)

Thank you for taking the time to contribute to thesaurus.maths.org.
