Definition (keystage 3)
Statement A is sufficient for statement B, if A being true is enough to make B be true also. We often talk about the sufficient conditions for a statement, i.e. a set of other statements which will make it true.
If A is both necessary and sufficient for B, then A and B are logically equivalent.
If A is both necessary and sufficient for B, then A and B are logically equivalent.
