Definition (keystage 2)

A characteristic or feature of something.
For example, some of the properties of the number 8 are:
It is even.
It is a multiple of 4.
Some of the properties of a square are:
It has four sides of equal length.
It has four right angles.

Definition (keystage 3)

A quality which something must either have, or not have; there is no in-between state.
