Skew can mean several different things:
Skew lines are lines in space which do not intersect and are not parallel, i.e. they do not lie in the same plane;
A skew curve is a curve that does not lie in a plane;
A skew field is another name for a division ring;
The skewness of a distribution is a measure of how asymmetrical it is;
Skew-symmetric and Skew-Hermitian matrices are classes of matrix related to symmetric and Hermitian matrices, but inserting the operation of complex conjugation into the definition;
