Congruent   (English)

Definition (keystage 3)

Two objects are congruent if a specified simple operation will turn one into the other.
Congruent shapes can be turned into one another by a rotation, reflection or translation.
Congruent numbers can be turned into one another by adding or subtracting multiples of a specified number.
