Homogeneous  |  Homogeneal  |  Homogenous   (English)

Definition (keystage 3)

Something is homogeneous if it has the same properties at every point; for instance a bowl of clean water is homogeneous, but a bowl of water with some potatoes in it is not.
Sometimes the words homogenous or homogeneal are used to mean the same thing.
